Yad Moss is located at the upper end of the South Tyne valley, high on the Cumbria/County Durham border. It is situated above the B6277, 11 kilometres south of Alston and 24 kilometres north west of Middleton in Teesdale. The nearest postcode is CA9 3HB (this is 3 kilometres north of the roadside car park).
There is plenty of space for everyone to park but please stick to one side of the road only. Alternatively park off the carriageway altogether by digging out your space, if necessary. You must leave plenty of room for the snow plough and other heavy vehicles to pass easily, at all times. See ‘A Few Rules’
