Recent grant funding
December 2024 – Many thanks to the Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership and the two councils of Cumberland and Westmorland & Furness for awarding Yad Moss a grant from the UK Government Rural England Prosperity Fund. This funding has been put towards a better power supply for the webcam and a new quad, replacing one of our existing vehicles, which was over 40 years old.
We hope that through this funding the local community as well as our members will benefit from a more reliable and comprehensive set of webcam pictures, as we have been able to add views of the road and the Moor House research station. With the new quad, preparation of the slope will be more efficient and easier for our volunteers.
